Is this conference relevant for you?
This conference provides the latest knowledge and insights related to resource scarcity, near-term ecological changes, and response measures — undertaken, planned, or that could be taken — to mitigate risks, and maximize future opportunities, at business, political and social levels.

Background
Based on well-verified scientific studies, real-world current events, and established systemic modelling, this events advocates the hypothesis that the worldwide resource reserves and supply volumes are unable to meet current or growing demand.
The programme promotes an alternative systemic scenario to address the eminent resource crisis: What should be the New Zealand strategy in case the desired resource supply cannot be maintained, due to planetary boundaries, sustainability challenges, geopolitical tensions, and social implications?
This systemic scenario approach proposes to enhance and vitally extend current concepts and planning for a sustainable future.
While general impacts are known, specific manifestations and timelines remain uncertain. Therefore we advocate scenario-based analyses, contingency planning, and preparations compatible with multiple scenarios — it is essential to be prepared for multiple pathways that can lead us into a sustainable future, to match the many potential scenarios that could emerge.
How you will benefit
During this event, and beyond, you will learn more about the concrete evidence that underpins "beyond growth" future planning, and will be enabled to contribute to alternative systemic strategies:
During the "Beyond Growth Aotearoa," we would like to achieve the following goals:
